Christan A. Drayton

Christan A. Drayton, Sr., age 72, of Coplay, passed away Oct. 24th at his home.  He was the husband of Ella V. (Lancaster) Drayton since June 24, 1967. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Arnold B. and Gertrude (Smith) Drayton. He was a computer technician, working at PPL for 10 years; and also 8 years at Singer Computer & Sewing Machine Company, where he installed the first computers at the Whitehall Sears store. He also owned a home remodeling business for 8 years. 

 
He is survived by his wife Ella; daughter Coressa Lee Drayton of Punta Gorda, Florida; sons Christan Drayton Jr. and wife Melissa of Allentown and Rashonn A. Drayton and wife Amber of Allentown; a sister Martha Horshow and husband Ricky of Ardmore; brother Jerry; grandchildren: Kiahna Lee, Kali, Kyla, Christan III and Chenelle, a great-grandson Cavyn Syer Drayton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by brothers Arnold and John Drayton.

Services:  11:00 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31 at St. James AME Zion Church, 410 Union St., Allentown.  Calling hours 9 to 11 a.m. in the church.
Interment following at Greenwood Cemetery, Allentown.  Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
