Raymond Barry Frank

Raymond Barry Frank, 71, passed away on December 20, 2016 at his home in Allentown. He was born on June 7, 1945 in Manhattan. He retired in 2014 after 25 years of service at Kidspeace, formerly Wiley House.

He is survived by his wife Diana (Balot) Frank, with whom he celebrated 40 years of marriage on October 19, 2016 his grandson, Eddie Hernandez, his daughter, Katherine Ann Frank, his son, Daniel Barry Frank, his sister, Mary Purificati of Franklin Square, Queens, NY as well as in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Barry was active in both the anti-war and the labor movements throughout the late 1960’s and ‘70’s. He built homes in Cuba with the Venceremos Brigade. He was active locally in anti-war and other political work until his illness in 2004.

 There are no words in existence that can express the loss of this unique man.
