Frederick E. Brown, Jr.

Fred Brown Jr., 61, of Allentown, passed away Jan. 8 at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was the husband of Mary Ann (Bartholomew) Brown, they were married 35 years last October. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Frederick E. Brown Sr. and Edith May (Bond) Brown. Mr. Brown was a commissioner and leader for the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts, Pack & Troop 101.
 
Survivors: wife; son Freddy Brown III; sisters Phyllis A. Reichard and Jane I. Muto, both of Allentown and Ellie M. Conley of Stafford, Va.; brothers James A. Brown of Allentown and Bruce F. Brown of Whitehall; nieces and nephews.
 
Services: Memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown.
