James A. Muthard

James A. Muthard, 69, of Catasauqua passed away Feb. 25 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Lloyd F. Muthard Sr. and Clara (Trump) Muthard. James was a member of the Northampton congregation Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, where he served as an elder for many years. His life was mostly devoted to the ministry, where he spent most of his time helping people appreciate the Bible's message of hope for a future paradise. James also enjoyed playing the piano.
 
Survivors: brother Lloyd F. Muthard and his wife Carol of Whitehall; nephew Jessi Muthard of Bethlehem; niece Marisa, wife of Christopher Kauker of New Tripoli; great nephews Mason and Dane.
 
Services: memorial at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 10 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 17 E. 4th Street, Northampton, Pa. 18067. Contributions can be made to the Kingdom Hall at the same address. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
