John Abraham Faris, age 63, of Whitehall passed away July 26 at Lehigh Valley Hospice. He was the husband of Amal Bitar for 29 years. Born in Syria, he was a son of the late Abraham and Nizha Faris.
He is survived by his wife Amal; son Steven; daughters Natalie, Nadine and Nicole; sisters Mona Jarrah and Jammily Hadeed; brothers Mounzer Faris, Jamil Hadeed, Tony Faris and Aziz Faris; his wife's parents Abdallah and Nouhad Bitar; brother in law Talal Bitar and sister in law Majd Nassar; nieces and nephews.
Services: viewing Tuesday, July 31 at Immaculate Conception Church, 501 Ridge Ave., Allentown starting at 9:00 a.m. with funeral service at 11:00. Interment at Garden of Peace Cemetery, Whitehall. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
