Robert A. Sanchez

Robert Sanchez, age 69, of Emmaus passed away unexpectedly at his home. Born in Allentown on June 24, 1949, he was the son of the late Anthony and Elaine (Mertz) Sanchez. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in 1967, and worked as an electrician by trade and later at Mack Trucks then the Greif Companies and Colonial Crest Apartments. Bob was a board member of the Mercantile Club which he loved dearly along with the people who came there. He was also a member at the Emmaus Fire Co. #2 and other Emmaus social clubs. 
 
He is survived by his former wife and forever friend Joan A. Sanchez-Longtin; best friend and sister in law Jane Panzarella; his son Michael A. Sanchez and wife Elizabeth and their children Jake and Chase; daughter Lisa J. Sanchez; an estranged sister Yvonne Walls and her family; and numerous close friends at the Mercantile Club, especially Pete, Holly and Troy. 
 
Services are private at Bob's request. He will be eternally missed by all those who knew and loved him. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
