William Huber

William “Billy” Huber, age 53, passed away peacefully in his sleep from a long battle with kidney disease, on the morning of December 18, 2020. He was a resident at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem, PA since January 2020. A lifetime member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Bethlehem, PA; Billy happily received the Sacrament of the Eucharist in August 2017.
Early in life, Billy attended Bethlehem Area School District’s Special Education Program and later attended The Arc of Northampton County. Along with his friend group, Billy was an avid bowler at both Jordan Lanes and Town & Country Lanes. He was also an athlete in Bethlehem Special Olympics, participating in the softball throw.
People acquainted with Billy appreciated his sense of humor and his love of a good practical joke. His favorite things were watching cop shows, and “The Three Stooges”, and listening to music on his radio. His favorite song was “Who Let the Dogs Out”. In December 2016, Billy enjoyed his first trip to Walt Disney World.
Billy is survived by his brother Laurence (Larry) Huber and his wife, Denise of Emmaus, PA. Also surviving are his nephew, Craig and his wife, Ashley, of AFB Altus, Oklahoma. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Eleanore (Schmidt), and his sister, Janice, who passed away in February of this year.
Services are pending a later date by the family.
