Santos Velez
01/10/2021

Santos "Tito" Velez, 84 , of Hatillo, Puerto Rico born September 26, 1936 passed away January 10th, 2021.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years Amparo Velez; daughters Lisset Velez, Marisol Tosado, Ana Rivera; Grandchildren
Jose, Jacklyn, Josh, Eric, Alycia, Dylan and Jaylee and 11 Great Grandchildren; Sons-in-law Allen Santiago, Pedro Tosado, and Alberto Rivera.

He was a deeply devoted man who loved and cared for his family. He loved when we all gathered at his home on holidays or for no reason at all, even when we all barely fit. He always welcomed us all, extended family and friends and even the pets. He showed his strength and love until the very last second he was with us. He was the foundation of our family. From him, we learned how to build a family, a home and our faith in God. He always prayed for us and others instead of himself.

Santos, you stayed humble in your own ways and showed us the value of important things such as family and love for others, and never the materialistic things.  We will always keep you in our hearts and thoughts. We know you will be watching over us always. God gained the greatest angel.
