Eli A. Dergham

Eli Dergham, 65, of Whitehall died Dec. 22nd at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the husband of Naifeh (Azar) Dergham, and son of Atiyeh and Angelina Dergham. He was formerly the owner of Makhoul’s/ D&S Middle Eastern food market and most recently worked at B. Braun Medical. Eli was a pillar of his community, loved and respected by all who knew him. He always had a friendly smile and never wore a tie. He could be seen on weekends at his stand at Jake’s Flea Market.

He is survived by his wife; son Scott and daughter Danielle; his brothers George, Naim and John and their wives; grandchildren Ashton, A’Lana, Blake and Callen.

Services: viewing 9:00 a.m. Monday, Dec. 27th at St. George Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave., Allentown with services at 11:00.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, www.stjude.org, or to the church. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home.
