Medhat A.R. Reiser, 88, of Kirkland Village, Bethlehem, died on April 5, 2015. 'Med' was born in Cairo, Egypt. He graduated from the University of Cairo with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. He furthered his studies in France and at the Nobel Institute, Sweden. He emigrated with his family to the US in 1969, settling at first in Bethlehem PA and working for Nepera Chemical. He was then transferred to Harriman, NY and retired in 1990 as Director of Purchasing and Environmental Control. In 1999, he and his wife Alice moved back to Bethlehem and into Kirkland Village. Med's family expresses their sincerest gratitude to the staff and nurses at Kirkland Village and Heartland Hospice. Survivors: Med is survived by his wife Alice; and they had recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. He is also survived by his daughter Mona and her husband John Armstrong; and his beloved grand-daughter Kayla Armstrong of Suwanee, GA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and many other parts of the world. Services: Services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family at Bethlehem Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Nicos C.
