Velma J. (Haas) (Walck) Snyder

Velma J. (Haas) (Walck) Snyder, formerly of Bowmanstown Pa, Kunkletown Pa, and Wescosville Pa. went home to her Lord and Saviour on August 13th at Cedarbrook in South Whitehall, one day short of her 91st birthday. She was born in Lehighton Pa. to the late Raymond and Beulah (Wehr) Haas.  

She is survived by her sons Richard and Dale Walck; 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, many nieces and nephews. She was the widow of Richard Walck of Bowmanstown who died in 1964, and widow of Russell Snyder who died in 2014; predeceased by her son Dean Walck and her family members brother Raymond and sisters Myrtle, Eleanor, Mary and Leelah.

She was a loving, caring person who lived her faith in Jesus. She was a long time member of Bethany Wesleyan Church in Cherryville.  

Services: viewing on Monday, Aug. 22nd starting at 10:00 a.m. at Bethany Wesleyan Church, 675 Blue Mountain Dr., Cherryville with funeral service following at 11:00. Interment at Franklin Heights Cemetery, Weissport. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
