Robert Koval, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and cherished friend, peacefully passed away at his home on May 12, 2024.

Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, son of Mary and Peter Koval, Bob was a proud graduate of Whitehall High School, Class of 1967. His love for football and his years on the team fostered lifelong friendships that sustained him especially in his later years.

Bob is survived by his sister, Susan Grol, his wife, Yesmine Koval, and daughters Tanya Lehmann and Sheri Koval and his grandchildren Tyler, Madison, Jillian, Kate, Erin, and Joey, all of whom he was deeply proud. He was predeceased by his brother Thomas Koval of South Carolina.

Following graduation, Bob attended Valley Forge Military Academy and later East Stroudsburg University. His diverse career included his service to Conrail Railroad as a Union Representative for The Union of Workers of Maintenance of Way to owning and managing Chick's Bar and Grill in Coplay, PA, where he made meaningful connections with his customers and friends. Later, he was a customer service representative for Wells Fargo Bank.

In his final days, Bob enjoyed time with his family and friends Barry Bandura, John Miller, Ed Ernst, Keith Mosser, Barry Feiertag, Dave Schneck, and Steve Gober.
