Mary Scott Howard, age 84, of Macungie, Pennsylvania passed away on May 24, 2024. Mary, known as Scotty to all her family and friends, was born April 21, 1940 to Bradford and Mary Stiles in New York, NY.

Scotty was married to Thomas B. Howard, her spouse, for 43 years, until his passing in 2008. She is survived by her children Leslie (Steve) Doyle, Julie (Paul) Berger, as well as step children Tom (Deborah) Howard, Ron (Bettye) Howard, Allen Howard and Marguerite (Bart) Morrison, grandchildren Jennifer Doyle, Matt Doyle, Andy (Pamela) Berger and Anna Berger, great-grandchildren, Madeline, Liam, Aiyana, Benny, Sincere and Ray as well as 7 step grandchildren and 14 great step children and her niece Betsy (Chris) Gillon and her family. She was also preceded in death by her sister Nancy and stepson Mark.

After graduating from Franklin High School in Reisterstown, MD, she went on to attend Parsons School of Design in NYC. Scotty was a professional artist/wildlife artist for almost 60 years.

She adored her family and loved all forms of gardening where she was happiest, her songbirds, her beloved dogs through the years, sailing and being a long time, active member of the St. Mary’s River Yacht Club in Southern Maryland for over 36 years. She was also passionate about her letter writing and poetry she created for family and friends.

There will be a graveside service held at Trinity Episcopal Church in St. Mary's City Maryland on Saturday, June 29th at 11:30 a.m.
