Brenda J. Verastegui, 71, of Bethlehem passed away June 13th at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Frank Potter and Cecilia Cortez. She was the wife of Luis Verastegui for 42 years. She was a 1972 graduate of Liberty High School and worked as the director of housekeeping for Comfort Suites for over 20 years.
Brenda is survived by her husband Luis; daughters Lori Potter, Lisa Potter and husband Daniel Bogdon and Loretta Verastegui and husband Alex Lopez; her sister Sandra Leimbacher and husband David Leimbacher of Clear Lake Iowa; grandchildren Amiliya Verastegui, Isabella Lopez, Jesus Lopez and wife Shanna, Luis Santos and fiancée Yoha; great grandchildren May, Stella and Quan; nephews Thomas Potter and Jason Potter both of New Jersey along with extended family. She was predeceased by her brothers Francis, Gary and Thomas Potter and nephews Gary Potter and Thomas Potter.
