In Loving Memory of Adalgisa

Adalgisa, 63, passed away on May 9, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospice. A beloved resident of Whitehall, she was known for her boundless generosity, warm spirit, and unwavering love for her family. She was a daughter of Camelia Cabrera and the late Jose Vasquez.

Adalgisa truly believed it was more blessed to give than to receive, and she lived that belief every day. Her kindness and compassion touched everyone she met. She was a devoted mother, a proud and loving grandmother, and a beautiful soul who never hesitated to help others. Her radiant smile lit up every room, and her presence brought comfort and joy to those around her.

She found happiness in the simple pleasures of life—road trips, cooking delicious meals, crafting with creativity, and spending quality time with her family. Her beloved cat, Oliver, was always by her side and brought her endless joy.

Though she is no longer with us, Adalgisa’s spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Her memory will be cherished, and her legacy of love and generosity will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her daughter Leogisa De La Cruz of Macungie; sons Leonardo and Eric De La Cruz of Whitehall; a sister Josefina of Bethlehem; grandchildren Anelsis, Jenayssi and Olivia with extended family.

Services: memorial visitation on Saturday, May 17th from 2-6 p.m. at Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown.
