Luis E. Verastegui, known as Nino, 74, of Bethlehem passed away May 8th at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. He was the widower of Brenda J. (Potter) Verastegui, who passed away in 2024. Born in Lima, Peru, he was a son of the late Luis Verastegui and Maria Victoria Paredes. He worked as a pastry chef at local area restaurants for many years.
He is survived by his daughters Loretta, Erica and husband German, Jessica, Lori and Lisa; a sister Ida in Peru; grandchildren Amiliya, Isabella, Jesus, Luis, Jose Martin Jr. and Giovanni along with three great grandchildren and extended family.
