William H. Boyer, Jr.

William (Bill) H. Boyer, Jr. passed away on June 13, 2025 at the age of 72, with his children by his side. Bill was the son of Jessie Naylor Boyer and William Henry Boyer, Sr. 

Born on June 6, 1953, Bill was a lifetime resident of Pottstown, and graduated from Owen J. Roberts High School in 1971. He was a grocery store manager for nine years, but spent the majority of his career working for the local newspaper. He had a love for history, rare coins, trains, and Stephen King books. Bill also served as a Trustee on the House Committee of the Pottstown Quoit Club. "Billy" will be remembered by his many loyal friends for his kind heart and helpful nature. 

Bill, affectionately known as Pops, is survived by his daughter Michele, fiancé of Brian; son Bryan, husband of Jacquelyn; and five grandsons: Wells, Maddox, Brady, Parker and Chase. He was predeceased by his parents and his older sister, Judy Power.
