Maria Ramirez Kuronya of Allentown, PA passed away after a serious illness on Monday, October 6, 2025 at the age of 88.
Mary is survived by her son, Joe Trevezo and his wife, Leslie; daughter Dina Compton and her husband Dave; 13 grandchildren: Luke Trevezo, Anthony Trevezo, Joey Castrovillari, Joshua Finn, Amber Arzac, Shalena Judy, Peter Ramirez, Christine Hawk, Kelly Harrigan, Kerian Ramirez, Michelle Mora, Ashley Garcia, and Sophia Jimenez; three great grandchildren, Bella, Molly and Jackson as well as her sister, Ofelia Chacon ( husband Felipe) and brother Thomas Ramirez (wife Andrea).
In addition to her parents and siblings, Mary was predeceased by her son Peter and daughter Denise.
Mary was born on December 4, 1936 to Ambrocia and Bartolo Ramirez at Ranchero Morieleno La Cruz, Chihuahua Mexico. She was raised in La Cruz along with 11 brothers and sisters.
She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and loved teaching others about God’s promise of a beautiful paradise on earth. Mary was hardworking and enjoyed helping others in any way she could. She loved to cook in abundance and found great joy in sharing meals with friends, family and anyone in need. She will be deeply missed for her generous spirit, loving friendship, hospitality and zeal for the ministry.
Funeral services will be held privately for the family. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 4733 Shankweiler Rd, Orefield, PA on Friday, October 17 at 6:00pm.
