Charles “Chuck” Gebey, 79, of Wescosville, passed away peacefully at home on October 29th.

Born in Straubing, Germany, Chuck emigrated to the United States with his parents at the age of four. He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School and The Pennsylvania State University.

A proud veteran of the Vietnam War and lifelong Penn Stater, Chuck was an avid golfer and longtime member of Brookside Country Club. When he wasn’t golfing, he could be found cheering on his beloved Nittany Lions. His children cherish many fond memories of their time spent together in Happy Valley cheering for “Dear Old State”.

Chuck built a successful career in the graphic arts industry, working in sales for both paper and printing companies. He was also a devoted member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church where he served as a Eucharistic minister.

He was predeceased by his parents, Laszlo and Julianna, and his wife of 49 years, Jane.

Chuck is survived by his children: Clare Gebey of Bath, PA; Brian Gebey of Newtown Square, PA; and Maria (Ray) Bleil of Macungie, PA; as well as his grandchildren, Aidan, Margo, Keira, Kaley, Grace, and Maggie.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 8th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown. Visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. Interment following at Resurrection Cemetery.
