Grace Bischoff, beloved Mom, Granny and Bebe, died at the age of 93. Born and raised in suburban Philadelphia, she graduated from the Moravian Seminary for Women and Westchester State College. Reflecting her love of children and reading, she had a career as an elementary school teacher in the Allentown School District and at the circulation desk at the Allentown Public Library. She said she had a good life, enjoying her family, friends, travel, music, and gambling. She is missed by her family, Susan Javier, Curt Bischoff and Dawn Plumb, James Bischoff, Anne Bischoff, John and Irma Nelly Bischoff, Samir and Wendy Portillo, Amaris Portillo, and Mala’Khi Portillo. She was predeceased by her husband, William Bischoff.
Services are private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Allentown Public Library.
