Jamal J. Salibi, 68, of Allentown, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones on February 1, 2026 at his home. He was born on June 1, 1957 in Aleppo, Syria, to Kamal Salibi and the late Jamil Salibi. He immigrated to the United States with his parents and siblings in 1976 and the family settled on the East Side of Allentown, Pennsylvania.
For over 25 years, Jamal owned and operated his own glass business, where he was known as a meticulous craftsman who took great pride in his work. He was respected for his dedication, skill, and strong work ethic. Jamal was also known for his kind heart and loving sense of humor, always able to turn a frown upside down and bring a smile to those around him.
Jamal was married to his beloved wife, Venice, for 40 years, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to family. He was a devoted husband and a proud, loving father to his sons, Jordan and James. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends, especially grilling with his boys and enjoying countless movie nights with his family, moments that brought him endless happiness and created cherished memories.
He is survived by his wife, Venice; sons, Jordan and James and his wife Ashley; his mother, Kamal Salibi; brothers, Joseph and Jehad; sister, Najwa and her husband, Atef Elias; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and lifelong friends who will miss him dearly.
The family will receive condolences at St. George Orthodox Church Hall, 1011 Catasauqua Ave., Allentown, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Services: Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. George Orthodox Church. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Laurel Cemetery.
