A privately owned family business offering traditional and contemporary funeral services, cremations, and pre-planning.
If you are thinking about cremation, our home can provide many options. We can do as much or as little as you would like, ranging from a simple no-frills cremation to a full traditional funeral, in our home or other location like a church. The traditional funeral can end with a cremation instead of going to a cemetery for a burial.
We offer 3 plans, and we believe you should have everything you need already in the plan, so there is no need for expensive add-ons, even an urn. The plans offer the convenience of being all-inclusive (no extra expenses) and value, since each is discounted as a package as compared to adding all the components separately. You can call us any time and get honest, open information about prices.
If you want to arrange a very simple, no-frills cremation, here's what we can do for you. As a new funeral home business, we are pleased to offer this affordable plan as a way to establish our business in the community.
This price includes all the necessary items: All services of the licensed funeral director, local transportation from place of death and to the crematory, refrigeration and sheltering, a rigid cremation container (for transport to the crematory), coroner's authorization, up to one certified death certificate, filing of all necessary permits and paperwork. This plan even includes a metal bronze-finished urn. There are no other hidden charges or taxes added.
Includes cremation followed by a memorial service, includes facilities and staff, an urn allowance and flower allowance. Guest register book, memory cards, clergy offering, death certificates and newspaper obituary are not included.
Includes transfer and preparation of decedent, facilities and staff for viewing (2 hours included, more time is $100 per hour), funeral ceremony, ceremonial rental casket, and cremation. Not included is an urn, guest register book, memory cards, clergy offering, flowers, death certificates and newspaper obituary. The ceremonial rental casket is available only for services held inside the funeral home.
Clergy honorarium not included.
Includes: Arrangement with your cemetery to have a burial service for the urn, our staff to organize and direct the service. Cemetery fees, clergy honorarium and outer burial container for the urn are not included. Travel beyond 25 miles incurs a mileage fee.
Add an organized procession to the cemetery for $75 extra.
BEWARE of price quotes which often do not include the coroner's fee, death certificates, a cremation container, refrigeration, urn, or other needed items which are added on later. We believe that ALL the things you need should be (and are) included in our plans.
Our in-stock urns range in price from $95 to $960.
Of course, you are able to upgrade by purchasing a different urn, more elaborate newspaper notice, more death certificates, and additional services such as burial of cremated remains if you wish. These are the most common extra-cost items.
Arrangements must be paid in full by the day of cremation for this special pricing.
* An authorized next of kin (spouse or all children or closest kin) must sign for and authorize the cremation. Our firm also requires identification of the decedent prior to cremation. This can be done via photo or internet if necessary.
Fortunately, cremation gives you the flexibility of scheduling services whenever convenient for you, and of course there are other special options available.
