If you have to do this... My sister and I had our mother taken care of here at her request, which was also my preference. We had our father go through here 15 years ago. At that time, our mother, wanting to continue the frugality she shared with our father, wasn't interested in the biggest public display, etc, none of which befits cremation anyway. But there are things some might choose. I always figured that "shoppers" in this position would be very vulnerable to "upselling." There was absolutely no pressure from Nicos then or now. They also accommodated my late arrival by plane, which allowed me to see her where she passed before being taken away, which ended up being very late for them. I can only imagine having to maintain a realistic sympathetic demeanor for as much as would be required in this occupation, but there was zero obsequiousness in their interactions. They simply "meet you where you are." All questions are answered respectfully and completely.

Nicos was amazing. He helped with pre planning my mom's cremation. He made the whole experience easy and quick, he also answered all my questions. I highly recommend him. This is just one less thing I need to worry about when my mom eventually passes.

Nicos took care of my mother's funeral. The facility (the old General Harry Trexler home) is beautiful! Nicos did a great job with the planning, cards, flowers, casket choice, and really everything. Hats off to the Deacon who was wonderful. Nicos did good making the funeral work for a family that's half Catholic, and half Greek Orthodox. Everything from the Viewing to the Burial went as smooth as silk. He also worked with us to keep the cost manageable. I'm 100% happy I chose Nicos Elias (and his staff) to take care of mom's funeral!
