Morshed Mimari

Morshed Mimari, 84, of Allentown, died March 23 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. Born in Mishtayeh, Syria, he was the husband of Samira Mimari since 1969. After coming to America in 1989, he worked as a machine operator at HAB Industries, Allentown for many years, but mostly he was a hard worker and a loyal, loving and caring father who was dedicated to his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Samira; sons Robert and wife Rita, Eli and wife Felicia; daughters Najat, Jenan Elias and husband Tony, and Jiana Donaldson and husband Eric; brothers and sisters, and grandchildren Abie, Lillian and Karla Elias, Marshall and Alexander Mimari, Brianna, Sarina and Elaina Donaldson.

Services will be Friday, Mar. 25 11:00 a.m. at St. George Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave., Allentown with a viewing from 9:00 to 11:00. Burial at Laurel Cemetery. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
