Dale R. Ulshafer

Dale Ulshafer, 80, of Coplay, passed away Dec. 25 at St. Luke's Hospice. He was the partner of Barbara Cooper, with whom he resided for 36 years. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Herbert and Irene (Haldeman) McElroy. Dale worked as a bartender and later in sales of bar and restaurant supplies.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines.

He is survived by Barbara; his children Lita Peters & Holly Boyer of Emmaus; Keely Worman, Baron and Tucker Ulshafer of Allentown; and a half brother Ken Haldeman. He was predeceased by a sister Joan Hydro. 

Private services and interment planned for Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia.  Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
