Gwynn Ellen Krempasky

On Wednesday, November 7th  2018, Gwynn Ellen Krempasky, 76, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family.  She was the beloved wife of Wilfred M. Krempasky for 57 years.  Gwynn was born in Allentown, PA to the late Robert Uhle and Elma Mae (Harley) Uhle.  Gwynn attended Parkland High School and worked for several years in insurance before becoming an Acquisitions Administrative Assistant for the Parkland Community Library for nearly 30 years, retiring in 2005. She was an avid reader and collector of books.  Her talents included drawing, gardening and baking. She loved nature and animals, especially dogs, and was an enthusiastic bird-watcher.  Her last rescue dog, Heidi, was a constant joy in her life. Her love for animals was only surpassed by her love for her family.  She was a caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother, a devoted daughter and sister, and a loyal friend who will be deeply missed. 

Surviving with her husband are daughters, Susan Dickinson and husband Pat of Allentown and Katherine Steirer and husband Bill of Allentown; mother, Elma Mae Uhle of Allentown; sister, Jane Krasley and husband Doug of Allentown; goddaughter, Jesse Krasley; granddaughters, Kathryn, Julia, Elizabeth, Caroline and Meredith.

The family wishes to thank the staff of LVHN Hospice for their kind and compassionate care given to Gwynn in her final months.
