Conchita Collazo

Conchita "Connie" Collazo, 50, of Allentown, PA passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice - 17th Street following a lengthy, hard-fought battle with ALS.  She was surrounded by family and friends and was in the arms of her mother.

 Connie will be remembered for her beautiful smile, distinctive laugh, sense of fashion, and care and concern for those around her.

 Born March 22, 1969 in Allentown, Connie was the daughter of Concepcion Rosado and the late Rev. Jesus Manuel Collazo Sr.

 Survivors:  In addition to her mother, Connie is survived by siblings Marta Collazo Hoppel, Agusto Caesar Collazo, Ruben Collazo, Israel Collazo, Deborah Colon, Noemi Torres (wife of Luis), Ismael Colon (fiancée to Stacy Thompson), Rebecca Colon (companion to Jose Malave Sr.), and Elvis Colon.  Connie was especially fond of her nieces and nephews including Jessy Collazo Savarese, Jamie Collazo Stein, Brandon Hoppel, Emmanuel Collazo, Israel Collazo Jr., Anthony Cruz, Angel Santiago Jr., Alexa Marie Colon, Rebecca Shania Malave, Claudette Malave, J.J. Malave and Pheenix Colon, as well as several grandnieces and grandnephews.  Connie is also survived by her loving companion and fiancé, Thomas J. Trembly Jr.  She was predeceased by beloved brother Jesus Manuel Collazo Jr.

Services:  A public viewing followed by prayer service will be held Friday, June 14, 2019 from 5 PM to 8 PM at Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 Hamilton St., Allentown, PA and is open to all.  A separate private viewing will also be held at Good Shepherd Raker Center for the many residents there whom became friends.
