The dearly loved Bernice V. Smith, 83, of Allentown, passed away on February 19, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Anastasia (Schwoyer) Deutsch of Allentown. She was predeceased by her devoted husband of 65 years, Sterling R. Smith. They enjoyed spending quality time in Hawaii together. Bernice was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Allentown. She was an Angel on Earth, love and laughter guaranteed to greet you with a warm smile. All her qualities have been passed on to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren so her loving, gentle ways will live on forever.

Survivors: Children, Deborah Bowers, Sterling Jr., Alan (Terri), Michael and Mark Smith (Ronnie); Grandchildren, Michael (Theresa), Shannon, Maggie (Vernon), Brian (Tara), Erin (Douglas), Nicole, Amber, Mark Jr., and Matthew; Great Grandchildren, Gracelyn, Rebekah, Stella, Scarlet, Kathryn Susanna, Dylan, Evelyn, and Morgan; Brother, Charles Deutsch; Sister, Dolores Reaman. Bernice was predeceased by her Siblings; Mildred Alman, Mary Wingert, Anna Snyder, Claudia Watson and Donald Deutsch; Daughter-in-law Shirley Smith, and Son-in-law Randy Bowers. Celebration of life will be held in the future.
