Adnan Khoury

Adnan Khoury, 81, passed away July 31st at home with his family in Bethlehem. Born in Hama, Syria, he was a son of the late Yousef and Olga (Joubayle) Khoury. He was the husband of Maha (Azar) Khoury.

Mr. Khoury’s career spanned 62 years, most recently serving on the board of directors for Fransbank, Syria. He travelled from Damascus to here to be with family and work. He was an intelligent, hard working man and his hands were always extended to anyone in need.

He is survived by his wife Maha; son Rami Khoury and wife Hellen; daughter Rana Khoury; brother Ibrahim; sisters Dahouk Khoury and Dalal Filo; his grandchildren Karin, Joseph, Adnan and Lucas, along with many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his brother, Safwan.

Services: Viewing Wednesday, Aug. 3rd starting at 9:00 a.m at St. George Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave., Allentown. Funeral service at 11:00 with interment following at Laurel Cemetery, Whitehall. Arrangements are by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
