Samuel Gonzalez, 81, of Allentown passed away August 27th at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown. Born in Hatillo, Puerto Rico, he was the husband of Maria Elena Gonzalez. He worked as a handyman, learning to be a mechanic, cabinetmaker and electrician. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife; son Samuel A. Gonzalez, son Gaddiel; daughter Ivonne, many siblings and eight grandchildren and extended family.
Services: Viewing on Thursday, September 1st starting at 11:00 a.m. at Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown with prayer service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held later in Puerto Rico.
