Sader Issa, 79, of Hellertown passed away September 29th at St. Luke’s Hospital surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Watfah (Richie) Issa. Born in Baida, Syria, he was a son of the late Azar and Ghalli Issa. He was a licensed electrician who worked at Bethlehem Steel for 26 ½ years. He was an avid reader who cherished time with his family and friends and sharing a bottle of red wine.
He is survived by his wife; sons Mark (Tracy) and Michael Issa; daughter Renee (Joshua) Kukowski; his siblings Hind, Habib, Ibrahim, Jihad Issa, Almasa Salloum & Badia Tannous; Grandchildren Christian, Michael, Lucas, Gabrielle Issa, and Jacob and Amelia Kukowski.
Services: viewing Thursday, Oct. 6th at 10:00 am at St. George Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave., Allentown with funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial following at Bethlehem Memorial Park cemetery.
Note: the family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the church social hall. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
