Zahy Shehab, 82 of Allentown passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. He was the husband of the late Thamara (Khoury) Shehab. Born in Bsouma’a, Syria, he was the son of the late Shehab and Nasima Shehab.
He is survived by his son Ziad and wife Perla of Center Valley and Tarek and wife Fran of Northampton; grandchildren Jonathan, Kevin, Madison, Maria, Melina, Morgan, Aiva and Laith, along with two great grandchildren Noah, and Amelia. Brothers Bahgat Shehab of Syria, Aziz and Mtanyous of Allentown; predeceased by a brother Zakhour and a sister Myariana both of Syria and many nieces and nephews.
Services: Viewing Wednesday starting at 9:00 AM at St. George Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave., Allentown with funeral services starting at 11:00. Burial at Laurel Cemetery, Whitehall. Mercy meal to follow at St. George Orthodox Church. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
