Afifa Fares, age 90, of Whitehall passed away August 29th at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown. Born in Homs, Syria, she was a daughter of the late Jamil and Mary Fares. She is survived by her four sons, Haitham, George, Jamil and Tony Hazim; 11 grandchildren and extended family.
Services: viewing on Wednesday, Sep. 4th from 9 to 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 501 Ridge Ave., Allentown. Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Victor Hanna officiating, interment following. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
