Vu Van Bui, 58, of Allentown passed away July 2nd at St. Luke's Hospice house. He was the husband of Loan Nguyen. Born in Vietnam, he was a son of the late Merle Ellsworth Smith and Lai Bui. He enjoyed his garden, cooking, karaoke, and was a handyman and worked on car repairs.
He is survived by his wife Loan; children Jerry, Theresa, Lynn, Lilly, Don, Dan and Lyla Bui; sisters Hong Bui of Easton and Thuyoi Bui of Texas; a brother Wally Bui of Virginia and extended family.
Services: Buddhist prayer service will be held privately at Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown.
