George Azar, 76, of Whitehall passed away July 28th at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Dawn (Sabga) Azar. Born in Syria, he was a son of the late Jacob Azar and Jamilah Hadeed. He formerly worked farming olives.
He is survived by his wife Dawn; his children Jamie Azar, Leila Azar Sayegh, Jacob Azar, Amanda Azar, Gizelle Azar Alkhal; a brother Salloum Azar; sisters Georgette and Fadia; 17 grandchildren, one great grandchild and extended family. He was predeceased by a sister Nawal and brother Shahoud.
Services: viewing Saturday, August 1st starting at 9:00 a.m. in St. George Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave., Allentown. Funeral service at 11:00 with interment following at Laurel Cemetery, Fullerton.
