Born on April 23, 1935, in Zwaitini, Homs, Syria, she was the daughter of Nooh Salloum and Miriam Allan. Rahmah lived a life devoted to her family. She was a loving stay-at-home mother and homemaker whose greatest joy was nurturing her family and creating a warm, welcoming home. Her kitchen table was a place where everyone gathered to enjoy her delicious cooking, heartfelt hospitality, and abundant love.

She especially enjoyed sitting outside with a cup of coffee, welcoming visitors, sharing stories, and singing her heart out. Her warmth and kindness will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Suleiman Tabshi, who passed away twenty years ago this past September. Their marriage was a cherished blessing, and the love and devotion they shared remained an enduring source of strength throughout her life. She was also predeceased by four young children, her brother, Georges Salloum, and her sister, Zahie Salloum.
