 Janice Walsh O'Connell

Born December 17th, 1931 and went to be with The Lord on July 10, 2014. She was a daughter of the late Herbert and Nellie (Chisholm) Walsh. Jan graduated from Abington High School and went into secretarial work where she then had an opportunity to go into show business. After returning to Philadelphia, she married, had two children and launched a career in sales. After several years in the recruiting business Jan founded The Valley Personnel and operated as President for 25 years until her retirement in 2004. She enjoyed a lifetime passion for playing piano and for music.
Survivors: her daughter Melanie Senft and husband Timothy Shuman of Doylestown; sister Bertie Walsh of Florida; grandson Aaron W. Senft of Doylestown. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Aubrie Gahman and a son Robert A. Montague.
 
Services: Her family and friends are invited to share in her memorial service at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 17th at the Wayside Chapel at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1151 Horsham Road, Horsham, PA 18944. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
