Ernest "D.F." Abraham

Ernest "D.F." Abraham, 86, of Allentown, died Feb. 26 at Cedarbrook. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Joseph and Minnie (Shahda) Abraham. He was a lifetime member at the 6th ward Democratic Club in Allentown, and a board member. He was an All-State center in football and baseball during his high school years. Mr. Abraham was a veteran of the U.S. Army stationed in Germany during the Korean war.

Survivors: sisters Shirley Kressler and husband Kenneth of Florida, Lorraine Haney and husband Barry of Whitehall; brothers Samuel and wife Naida of Whitehall and Joseph Jr. and wife Diane of Florida. He was predeceased by brothers John, Albert, Walter and Robert, and sisters Arlene Assad and Alice Kovach.
 
Services: viewing starting at 9:30 Tuesday, March 3 at Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton Street, Allentown, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 with Rev. MaryAnn Hamm. Private interment at Arlington Cemetery, Whitehall.
