June Longenecker

June Longenecker, 88, of Allentown, died Nov. 23 at Phoebe Home, Allentown. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary Gift. She was a registered nurse for many years.  She had a long, loving marriage to her husband C. Eugene Longenecker Jr., who predeceased her in 1984.

Survivors include daughter Susan Longenecker Ruth  and her husband Jim Ruth of Hereford; son Chuck Longenecker of Bath; grandsons Luke and Ben Longenecker; granddaughter Katie Ruth, and one surviving sister, Betty Keiper of Fremont CA.

Funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Friday, Nov. 27 at Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown, with visitation from 9:30 until the service. Interment following at Huff's Union Church Cemetery.
